This one I miss still…

Why a drawing of a cat long gone? Because when I tried to use my scanner last night, I discovered a cat had jumped on it, knocked it off my desk and killed it dead. So into my archive I went for a halfway appropriate image to vent my frustration.

Make no mistake, I’m an animal lover and I like some cats. But anyone that’s lived with them knows there are good cats and some that one can live without. That’s all I’m going to say about it except that I’m leaning toward a cat-free house one day. Of course, I’ve always known about the cat parasite Toxoplasma gondii, but I’m getting to an age where I don’t want to be that kind of crazy. Yikes.

Enough about cats! Can I plug the Epson line of scanners? They’re terrific if not cat-crashed. And I can say that guilt-free since this teeny blog is off the swag radar…
